10. Thai energy company PTT’s profits plunge 40% in second quarter

Thailand’s PTT reported a 40% drop in Q2 2025 net profit to 21.5 billion baht, mainly due to losses in its refining and petrochemical businesses. Sales revenue fell to 676.75 billion baht, and EBITDA declined 31.7% to 78.8 billion baht.
