The Facilities Manager will be responsible for oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio.   • To monitor and review the operation of all term service sub-contractors such as cleaning, security, pest control, landscape, and lift contractors, as well as to ensure that those services are performed satisfactorily as agreed to in the contract and at the costs quoted.
  • To ensure the smooth daily operation of the building such as car park, vehicular and pedestrian access, and security etc.
  • Follow up on any comments, suggestions or complaints until the matter is resolved.
  • Ensure tenancy fit-out runs smoothly, maintain contact with the lessee to ensure they have all information and assistance they require.

SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by pitching our services to clients or landlords and securing new business opportunities. This role involves strategic planning, market research, client engagement, and contract negotiation to expand our property management and facilities management portfolio.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities in the property management and facilities management services.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay informed of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive strategic decision-making
  • Lead end-to-end business development cycle – from lead generation, proposal preparation, client presentations, to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Understand client needs, industry trends, and market dynamics to proactively tailor service offerings.
  • Collaborate within and cross-department to develop compelling value propositions and customized service offerings
  • Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline
  • Monitors the upcoming expirations contract and negotiates the renewals within the prescribed timeline.
  • Actively involved with MarComm in all types of marketing activities to promote CBRE’s property management, facilities management and other services
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, occupiers, corporate clients, CBRE network and industry partners.
  • Represent CBRE at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Contribute to the achievement of revenue and profitability targets for the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development within the real estate, property management or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of integrated facilities management, commercial real estate, and client requirements.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex deals.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and a team player.
  • Good time management and multitasking skills.
  • Good working knowledge of related tools and technology.

SUMMARY

The person is responsible for overseeing and managing the valuation processes for various real estate assets. This role involves conducting detailed property valuations, providing advisory services, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The manager will lead a team of analysts and work closely with clients to deliver high-quality valuation reports that are of a high quality, and which are thoroughly researched, scrutinized, and reasoned, with detailed supporting documentation carefully stored. To support and assist the Investment Team and Research and Consulting Teams with in-house valuation and market data collection, where required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in leadership meetings, supporting execution and delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the team members in producing deliverables in accordance with the scope of work set out and expected quality with the client in a timely manner, having regard to the company’s requirements on compliance, reporting and risk.
  • Lead project pitches, client meetings, phone calls and presentations, and delegate tasks to the team with proper guidance, coaching and training.
  • Always communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues. Act in an ethical manner and in accordance with CBRE’s RISE Values, as well the values of associated/relevant government and regulatory bodies.
  • Effectively manage risk identified through CBRE’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program and the VAS Quality Risk Management (QRM) policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct market research on various real estate sectors/projects relevant to the valuation works.
  • Perform valuations using valuation methods in accordance with the RICS standards.
  • Work with the manager and management to seek out valuation enquiries, develop and maintain the client base.
  • Attend networking events to represent the Valuation Services and the Company.
  • Attend formal training to ensure your own knowledge, skills and capabilities are maintained and enhanced.
  • Set an example for the team members by ensuring fully compliance, ethical operation and adherence to CBRE Group and local rules.
  • Collaborate with the brokers team regarding the in-house valuations of assets to ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Collect, record, and analyse market data which may be used as part of research and consultancy projects by the R&C or management team.
  • Provide high quality valuation reports in a timely manner to clients.
  • Provide high quality valuation reports in a timely manner for a range of purposes and property types.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Managing Director.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management, Economics, Valuation, or other such relevant courses to Valuation.
  • Qualified RICS would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Good math and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to details.
  • An understanding in delivering professional valuation services to clients in a compliant and ethical manner in accordance with the RICS and local standards.
  • Good knowledge & keep updated knowledge or trend in economics, investment, construction, and real estate.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in valuation and experienced in managing the team.
  • Able to demonstrate ability to deliver high quality results under the guidance of senior staff.

  • Ensure all stock listings are accurately updated on the company website.
  • Coordinate with landowners to gather necessary details.
